A Record 202,000 Canadians Have Cut the Cord

The top TV providers (Rogers, BCE, Shaw, Videotron, Cogeco, Telus, and MTS) have lost 202,000 TV endorsers in the past fiscal year, as opposed to 160,000 the year before, as per specialist Mario Mota.

Despite the fact that that is a critical number, Mota stated, it must be taken inside the setting of a market where services like Netflix have turned out to be progressively well known.

"Given that roughly 11.3 million households subscribed to a traditional TV service at the end of 2016, the 202,000 customers lost last year represents only two per cent of the total market," wrote Mota, a collaborate with Ottawa-based correspondences research and consultancy firm Boon Dog, in an official statement.
